The UT2-SET is a set of mock test pieces that can be used for practical exam preparation and technical training for Ultrasonic Testing (UT) Level 2. It is designed to simulate actual practical exams and consists of a total of five pieces, including vertical testing specimens, angled testing specimens, pipe testing specimens, as well as RB-41 and RB-42 specimens. It allows for practice under conditions close to actual exams, aiding in the acquisition of practical flaw detection skills. It accommodates both vertical and angled testing methods, enabling efficient training of practical skills necessary for UT inspection, such as probe operation, defect location identification, and echo reading. It is suitable not only for qualification exam preparation but also for in-house training, skill development, and enhancing the skills of inspection technicians. *Please note that the use of pipe (curved material) test pieces in the UT Level 2 practical exam will end in the spring 2025 recertification exam.*
